Walk - The Treasures of Serra d'Ossa:
An interesting program to do with friends or family, is the footpath proposed by the Regional Tourism of Évora, drawn up with the collaboration of the Regional Direction of Agriculture for the Alentejo, Regional Direction for Environment and Planning of the Territory of Alentejo, and the University of Évora - Centre of Applied Ecology, maps of which are available at the Village of S. In Vila Viçosa be sure to visit the Ducal Palace, Medieval Castle and it's Museum, which hosts a permanent exhibition on Hunting Armoury (Lopo de Carvalho Collection), the Church of Our Lady of the Conception (which hosts the Crown of King João IV), or the Obelisk in honour of the Battle of Montes Claros (17th Century). In Estremoz visit The Rural Museum, Museum of Holy Art, the Convent of "Maltesas" and it's Castle. If you prefer Borba there is the The Town Hall, the "Servas" Convent, the Main Church and the Church of S. Bartholomew, and the "Bicas" Fountain to visit. About 20minutes away by car the World Heritage city of Évora, district capital.
